Kamchybek Tashiev emphasized that the morning of October 6 would remain in their memory as the day they first came out to the people after a long break. This moment marked the beginning of a new era.
Sadyr Japarov also noted that at that moment there was a threat of destabilization in the country due to the influence of "third forces".
"The period from October 6 to 16 seemed endless to me. External forces insisted that Sooronbay Jeenbekov remain president while I took the post of prime minister. They said that new elections would then be held, after which Jeenbekov would step down. However, I could not agree, as I understood that this would give Jeenbekov the opportunity to remain in power forever, while I would be forced to leave after a few months," Japarov stated.
The president did not specify who exactly proposed such a scenario.
