On January 15, a meeting was held in Uzgen, attended by residents of the Kalmak-Kiya and Tashtak neighborhoods.

The event was attended by the city mayor Eldos Taev, the chairman of the city council, and heads of local utility services.

The agenda included social and household issues concerning the current state of the neighborhoods and upcoming work. Among the topics discussed were the condition of the roads, infrastructure, access to clean drinking water, street lighting, garbage collection, irrigation channels, as well as issues of public order and sanitation.

Eldos Taev also spoke about the work completed in 2025 and outlined the main projects and directions for 2026. Specific instructions were given to the heads of the relevant services for each raised issue, with established deadlines for implementation.

All comments and suggestions made during the meeting were recorded in the minutes and taken under control. The mayor's office noted that some issues would be resolved on-site, while more complex problems require a phased approach.
