A symphonic concert featuring ballet and choir will take place in Bishkek

On January 20 and 21, a concert organized by the State Symphony Orchestra named after A. Jumakmatov will take place at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic. The program will feature a unique combination of symphonic music, choral singing, and ballet performance.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, during the concert, the audience will be able to enjoy works by 20th-century composers, in which music, vocals, and choreography are harmoniously combined.

The concert program includes the following works:

- Suite No. 2 from the ballet "Daphnis and Chloé" by Maurice Ravel;

- "Boléro" by Maurice Ravel featuring the dance troupe of the National Philharmonic;

- Carl Orff — Carmina Burana, a cantata for soloists, choir, and orchestra.

Among the soloists, we can highlight the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan B. Ybykeev, as well as P. Popikova and E. Beyshenbaev.

The choral direction will be led by the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan K. Tilenchiev and the choirmaster of Children's Music School No. 4 I. Soboleva.

The concert will be conducted by the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan Rakhatebek Osmonaliev.
