In Bishkek, the 70th anniversary of the scientist Abdyladzhana Akmataliev was celebrated

On January 16, a solemn event was held in Bishkek dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Abdyladjan Akmataliev — an outstanding literary scholar, critic, poet, and Doctor of Philological Sciences, professor, who became a distinguished figure in Kyrgyzstan. Abdyladjan Akmataliev left a significant mark in the field of science and literature.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, high-ranking guests attended the celebration, including State Secretary Arslan Koichiev, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Sozbek Nadyrbekov, along with representatives of the public, political sphere, and scientific community.

In honor of the anniversary, a documentary film titled "Rukh zhugü" ("Burden of the Spirit") was presented, created by the National Film Studio "Kyrgyzfilm," which reflects the life path and scientific achievements of Abdyladjan Akmataliev.

During the event, questions were raised about the scholar's contribution to the development of Kyrgyz literary studies. Participants noted that his scientific research, critical works, and poetic creations significantly influenced the progress of national humanities sciences.

Abdyladjan Amanturovich Akmataliev is the author of approximately 40 monographs and books, as well as hundreds of scientific articles. Under his guidance, many doctors and candidates of sciences have been prepared, which is an important contribution to Kyrgyz science. He holds the title of Doctor of Philological Sciences, professor, and academician, and has been awarded the "Dank" medal and the "Manas" Order of the III degree, and is an honorary professor at several higher educational institutions.
