At the veterinary checkpoint "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, a shipment of 15,600 liters of kumis was discovered, which was being illegally imported from Russia to Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Agriculture reported that the inspection was conducted by border veterinary control inspectors. During the examination of the products, it was found that the labels lacked a production date, which violates the veterinary and sanitary requirements established in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In connection with the identified violations, the necessary reports were drawn up, and the import of this batch of goods was prohibited. As a result, the kumis was returned to Russia through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.

The Veterinary Service, along with the development of livestock, pastures, and feed under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, continues to actively work to ensure food safety.
