The event features Islamic scholars and official delegates from over 30 countries, including regions from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The conference began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which speeches were made by the Minister of Awqaf and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Dr. Usama al-Azhari, the Deputy Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, as well as the Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Nazir Muhammad Iyad, and the Ministers of Religious Affairs from Palestine, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, and Djibouti.
Kyrgyzstan is represented at the forum by Abdulahiz Azhy Tutashpaev, an employee of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims. He conveyed greetings from the Mufti and the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan and delivered a report on the significance of artificial intelligence in Islamic philosophy, emphasizing that Islamic civilization is based on reason and moral values, and that human dignity is a fundamental aspect of technological progress.
The conference includes scientific sessions, workshops, and panel discussions. Among the topics discussed are the history of professions in Islam, plagiarism, ethical aspects of artificial intelligence, inter-civilizational integration, and entrepreneurial issues.
The main goal of the forum is to strengthen the exchange of experiences among Islamic scholars from various regions, including the Balkans, and to discuss how traditional Islamic values can adapt and evolve in the face of rapid technological progress.
