This decision was made by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Previously, the position was held by Samidin Shabyraliev, who was relieved of his duties after an on-site inspection. The Ministry of Health noted that when selecting new leaders, emphasis will be placed on young but qualified specialists, including those with experience working abroad.
Biographical Information about Sheishenov:
Jalil Sheishenov was born in 1975 and completed his education at the I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in 1999, obtaining a diploma in "General Medicine." From 1999 to 2002, he underwent clinical residency in cardiovascular surgery at the Research and Educational Center of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy.- From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a cardiac surgeon in the acquired heart defects department of the Research Institute he now leads.
- From 2007 to 2021, he was the head of the cardiac surgery department at the Scientific Clinical Center for Cardiac Surgery and Transplantology in Taraz, Kazakhstan. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the deputy director for medical work at the same institution.
- From the beginning of 2023 until January 2026, he worked as the chief physician of the scientific clinical center "Bishkek Cardio."
- In 2012, he defended his candidate dissertation in Russia. He is the author of four patents and more than 40 scientific publications, as well as 12 reports presented at international events.
- From 2010 to 2023, he held the position of chief specialist in cardiac surgery and independent expert at the Health Department of the Zhambyl Region of Kazakhstan.
- For many years, he has actively engaged in methodological work with primary care physicians and provides consultations through air ambulance and telemedicine.
- For his work in Kazakhstan, he has been awarded honorary certificates from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the "Excellence in Health Care" badge.
