During the meeting with farmers and agricultural producers from Panfilov and Jayil districts, Azmat Osmonov, the authorized representative of the president in Chuy region, discussed key issues related to preparations for the upcoming irrigation season and the fair distribution of irrigation water.
According to the press service of Osmonov, he emphasized that the distribution of water for irrigation should be carried out strictly in accordance with the law and established norms. “No special conditions or personal agreements will be allowed anymore, regardless of personal connections,” he stated.
The representative stressed that equal conditions for all agrarians are a crucial requirement for ensuring transparency and order during the irrigation season. “Only by following unified rules can we guarantee stability in conducting irrigation works,” he noted.
Osmonov also added that achieving a fair distribution of water requires close cooperation between the state and farmers, as well as strict adherence to legislation.
Moreover, the president's representative suggested more actively using the method of winter moisture-charging irrigation with freezing technology, which, according to him, contributes to better moisture accumulation in the soil and more efficient use of water resources, helping to reduce the risks of water shortages during the growing season.
Government bodies and local authorities have been instructed to enhance efforts to inform farmers and assist in the practical application of this method, especially in regions with limited water resources.
