Today, January 28, in the village of Chelpek, located in the city of Karakol, a special commission is working to inform the owners of buildings that are outside the "red line," reports Turmush correspondent.

Participating in this explanatory campaign are the first deputy mayor of Karakol, Kubat Isakov, as well as representatives from various organizations, including the road management, "Vodokanal," architectural services, the State Registration Service, and the ayil okmotu.

As explained by Bakyt Baryktabasov, head of the municipal enterprise "Road Management" of Karakol, there are plans to construct sidewalks on the main streets of the village with a total length of 7 km.

"On the streets of Asan Bulatov, Egemberdieva, and others, we are informing the owners of buildings that are outside the 'red line.' There were no sidewalks on the main streets due to these constructions. For the safety of pedestrians, a sidewalk 2.25 meters wide will be installed on one side of the roads. We are warning those who have fenced their plots and built sheds and similar structures to remove their constructions in advance, as with the arrival of spring, contracting organizations will begin work," he noted.

Funding for the creation of sidewalks will be provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and it is estimated that around 40 million soms will be required for this.

B. Baryktabasov also added that similar activities are planned throughout the territory of Karakol. Buildings located on the road create difficulties in servicing the road infrastructure (for example, during grading). Additionally, narrow roads can create problems for buses transporting passengers.
