According to information, the Ministry of Health intends to create a state rehabilitation center for drug addicts based on the already existing center for post-stroke patients located in the village of Dachnoye in the Alamudun district, with a capacity of 80 beds. At the same time, patients recovering from a stroke will receive treatment at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation, based on medical indications.
Dosmambetov emphasizes that the activities of illegal rehabilitation institutions are unacceptable and highlights the need to create a transparent and controlled system of state assistance. In connection with the above, a plan of activities for the state anti-drug program is being developed for the upcoming five years.
Professor Zhenishbek Nazaraliev confirmed that he is ready to provide methodological support to the Ministry of Health in the work of the rehabilitation center, as well as to involve specialists with experience in rehabilitation and restorative treatment, as reported by the ministry's press service.
