In the conflict that erupted at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation, a senior nurse and a doctor are involved. This was reported by Bermet Baryktabasova, head of the Independent Medical Union and an expert in evidence-based medicine, on her Facebook page, calling the incident a "thriller."

According to Baryktabasova, the new head of the department initiated changes, demanding that only doctors conduct patient consultations and prescriptions, as mandated by law. This caused discontent from the senior nurse, who, along with her son, began to threaten the head, provoking him into a "man-to-man talk." The incident culminated in a workplace fight, resulting in the head sustaining soft tissue injuries, she added.

The doctors reported the incident to the police, as well as to the State National Security Committee and the Ministry of Health, and a commission was established to conduct an internal investigation.

The channel "Bespredel KG" also published a video of the incident.

Akbaraly Makhmadiev, the chief physician of the institution, confirmed in an interview with Kaktus.media that the conflict occurred on November 26. "We are aware of the situation. Necessary measures have been taken. Both participants in the conflict - the doctor and the nurse - have been suspended from their duties, and an internal investigation is underway to determine the causes of the conflict and resolve it. Currently, the situation is calm, and the work process continues as usual. Both participants have opened sick leave," he noted.

The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region reported that on November 26, 2025, a report of a fight on the sixth floor of the hospital in the village of Tash-Dobo was received by the Alamedun district police department.

"This fact was registered. An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene, which included a doctor from the emergency department of the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, A. S., born in 1992. He stated that the senior nurse K. E. and her son N. insulted him with foul language and threatened him, as well as physically assaulted him," the police reported.

For her part, senior nurse K. E., born in 1968, also filed a similar complaint, claiming that A. S. insulted her with obscene language, humiliating her dignity and causing her bodily harm.

Both statements were registered, and forensic medical examinations were appointed to determine the severity of the injuries sustained by the participants in the conflict.
