On January 30, 2026, an event dedicated to the presentation of the "Russian-Kyrgyz Dictionary of Terms in the Field of International Relations and Diplomacy" took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as reported by the press service of the ministry.
Among the participants of the event were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Melis Murataliev, as well as employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the National Commission.
In his speech, Minister Kulubaev emphasized the importance of this publication. He noted that the dictionary would serve as a useful tool for diplomats, civil servants, and the general public. The minister stressed that its work would contribute to the unification and systematization of international terminology in the Kyrgyz language.
Kulubaev also expressed confidence that the new dictionary would find its application in the activities of the structural divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign representations of the Kyrgyz Republic, and relevant educational institutions.
Melis Murataliev, in his speech, spoke about the activities of the commission, particularly emphasizing the need to promote the state language within the framework of the concept "National Spirit – Global Heights." He noted that this dictionary would make a significant contribution to the development of Kyrgyz diplomacy.
Murataliev added that the state language is one of the fundamental symbols of independence, alongside the flag and the coat of arms, and the responsibility for its preservation lies with every citizen of Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, he highlighted the importance of the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a key state body that promotes the development of the Kyrgyz language, culture, and traditions on the international stage.
In addition to the presentation, digital projects of the National Commission were showcased, such as the "Aitil" platform and the mobile application "Kyrgyzcha O'noy," which are designed to simplify the study of the Kyrgyz language. Participants were also shown the portal document.gov.kg, which provides access to unified templates of official documents in the state language for civil servants and citizens.
