At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh held on February 5, Minister Nurdin Oruntaev emphasized the need to warn people against deals with little-known construction companies. His words were a response to appeals from deputies, particularly Azamat Isirailov, who reported on the problems faced by residents of Osh.

The deputy noted that at 351 Alymbek Datka Street, there is a building with six entrances and 66 apartments, constructed by the company "Emakom." According to local residents, they have encountered serious difficulties: it is impossible to connect heating, and the use of electric heaters leads to power outages. They are asking for help in resolving issues with documentation.

In response, the minister stated that "Emakom" is on the brink of bankruptcy. "At the moment, the company has no funds. There are several facilities in Bishkek and Osh that are causing complaints — some of them are completed, while others are still under construction or have not been commissioned. Since last year, the Ministry of Construction has been actively working to put problematic facilities into operation. The president has also instructed us to address unfinished projects. We will make a decision soon, and you will receive information. As for the building in Osh in question, we are conducting an investigation," he added.

Oruntaev also stressed that citizens should be cautious of flashy advertisements when choosing housing. "I urge everyone: avoid buying apartments, especially at the foundation stage, from little-known developers who are hard to trust. In recent years, inflation has been observed, construction materials have become more expensive, and many companies have found themselves in a difficult financial situation," he emphasized.
