Deputy Tatiana Kuznetsova inquired about how many such organizations are currently listed in the database. In response, representatives of the city administration assured that they would provide the information later.
“The situation is such that after the tender is held, difficulties arise with contractors who often hire subcontractors. This is not prohibited, but as a result, the declared technical parameters are lost and the quality of work decreases. Are explanatory discussions held with the winners of the tenders about the inadmissibility of using subcontractors?” Kuznetsova asked.
Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov replied that starting in 2024, the requirement regarding this will be included in the contracts for capital construction management.
“Control is carried out both by the city administration and the Capital Construction Department (UKS). We have submitted the list of unscrupulous contractors to the Ministry of Construction for action, including the possibility of revoking licenses. Starting from 2025, there will be no subcontractors in our projects. We require contractors to perform work of high quality, on time, and with maximum savings of budget funds,” the vice-mayor clarified.
