


The citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic now have the opportunity to apply for the replacement of their civil passport through the mobile application "Tunduk." This new service was announced by the State Enterprise "Kyzmat."

Applications can be submitted for the following reasons:
replacement due to expiration or at the request of the individual; change of personal data; damage to the document; loss of passport.
“When submitting an application, citizens can change the transliteration of their last name, first name, and patronymic into Latin script,” the agency clarified.According to paragraph 9 of the Regulation on the civil passport of the 2025 model, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 20, 2025, No. 508, the indication of the patronymic in the passport is done at the discretion of the citizen.
“Thus, when filling out the application, the applicant decides whether to indicate the patronymic. While in the ID card, the patronymic must be indicated if it exists,” the message states.

- upload a photo from a mobile device;
- take a picture directly in the application;
- use a photo from the Center for Public Services with a unique barcode (photography in the Center is free).

IMPORTANT: Having a valid electronic cloud signature is mandatory; it can be checked in the Personal Account in "Tunduk."
