In educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan, conflicts often go unnoticed as they are resolved within the schools themselves. This was stated by the expert in school medicine, Baktygul Jumakulova, during a broadcast on "Birinchi Radio." She emphasizes the importance of preventive measures rather than just reacting to incidents that have already occurred.

“It is necessary to seek the roots of the problem and ask important questions, especially concerning the family. We often ignore family circumstances. The upbringing of children and responsibility for their behavior until they reach adulthood lies with the parents. Children should not harm others — this is the foundation of raising the future generation,” Jumakulova stated.

In her opinion, teenagers often commit offenses without realizing the consequences, so it is important to find out what may have pushed them towards such behavior.

“I appreciate the work of teachers who open doors to a bright future for us. However, some educators also make mistakes in their relationships with students. Modern children are different from previous generations and do not respond well to aggression. They often become victims of an unfavorable environment. If a teenager commits an offense, it may indicate problems in the family, where they themselves may be victims of violence. A teacher's reaction can be a result of extreme stress. Therefore, it is important to conduct comprehensive studies to understand the conditions in which a child is growing up, whether there is a complete family, and what role the father plays in upbringing. No punishment should be one-sided; a fine of a thousand soms is not a solution,” the expert added.

Jumakulova noted that after incidents, investigations are usually conducted, and materials are submitted to the court.

“But this is not enough. It is necessary to work comprehensively, both with the school and with the family. Modern teenagers listen much more to their peers than to adults, so it is important to find authoritative students in the school who can influence others,” concluded Baktygul Jumakulova.

It is worth reminding that on February 16, a conflict occurred between a student and a teacher at school No. 83, which led to physical violence. As a result, a criminal case has been initiated.
