Eldos Taev, the mayor of Uzgen, shared memories of his mother and the life lessons she instilled in him during the challenging years of his childhood.

Mavludakhan Ryskulova, the mayor's mother, was born on November 17, 1959, in the village of Safarovka, located in the Suzak district. She is currently 66 years old and is the mother of three children.

Eldos recalls that his youth coincided with the difficult 1990s. Despite the harsh living conditions, his mother did everything possible to ensure that her children did not feel deprived. "It was very hard back then, but mom tried to make sure we didn't feel lacking. She could endure hunger, but always fed us. I remember a time when she went to work even when she was not well. I begged her to stay home, but she refused. Now, looking back, I understand that it was all for us," he recounts.

According to him, his mother always shared wise advice with her children. She insisted on the importance of education, behaving with dignity, and avoiding bad paths, and often repeated that patience is the key to success.

For Eldos Taev, his mother played a crucial role in his life. "She always blessed me, saying, 'If you serve your people, I will be happy.' Every word of hers inspires me and gives me strength to move forward," he noted.

Among the most important lessons he learned from his mother, the mayor highlights patience and honesty.

Recalling his childhood, he shared touching moments from family life: because of his curly hair, his mother affectionately called him "kozum" (my little lamb). However, as the mayor admits, he sometimes got scolded for his mischief.
