The event was held in the village of Kyzyl-Jyldyz at the Kalik Akiev Secondary School.
Twenty teams and 21 young storytellers participated in the competition.
The judging panel consisted of respected cultural figures: the director of the "Manas" theater, Nurbek Talantbekov; the chairman of the manaschi fund "Koykashka," Ulukmyrza Erkinbekov; the famous manaschi Nurbek Kalaybek uulu; young storytellers Uzarbek Anarbekov and Mirlan uulu Ularbek; as well as public figure Janara Muratova.
The deputy akim of the Jumgal district, Gulzat Zholdoshova, and the head of the district education department, Ruslan Sadyr uulu, expressed support to all participants, wishing them good luck.
Results of the intellectual game:
1st place — team "Kanykey" from the Kalik Akiev school;
2nd place — team "Kanykey" from the Sultan Turusbekov school;
3rd place — team "Manas" from the Kalik Akiev school;
3rd place — team "Kanykey Murasy" from the Aip Idinov school.
Among Russian-speaking schools, the first place was taken by the team "Aruuzat."
In the manaschi competition, the prize winners and opportunities to participate in the regional tour were:
1st place — Ariet Tynchtykbekov, a student from the Kasymbek uulu Mambetali school;
2nd place — Bayel Sorokinov, a student from the Isakbek Orozaliev school;
2nd place — Aigerim Srazhidinova, a student from the Kalik Akiev school;
3rd place — Nurkyz Kydyrbekova, a student from the Kalik Akiev school;
3rd place — Amina Batyrbekova, a student from the Kalik Akiev school;
3rd place — Erbol Tamchybekov, a student from the Myskal Omurkanova school;
3rd place — Aziza Emilbekova, a student from the Jusup Sary uulu school.
Additionally, 30 winners received certificates for free viewing of Kyrgyz films from the district film direction. Kyrgyz language teacher Gülzat Usönalieva awarded cash prizes of 10,000 soms to the winning teams.
For the excellent organization of the event, the staff of the district education department and the Kalik Akiev school received letters of appreciation from Nurbek Talantbekovich, the director of the "Manas" theater, and received commemorative gifts.
