Turmush continues to introduce readers to Kyrgyzstani people who have found a new life beyond their country's borders. This time, the focus is on 34-year-old Aigerim Sarykova, who lives with her family in Guangzhou, a well-known Chinese city where winter does not come.

Aigerim grew up in the Uzgen district of the Osh region and graduated from Osh State University with a degree in international relations and public service. She is the eldest of three children in her family and has two younger brothers. Her father works as a construction engineer, while her mother is a mathematics teacher. Today, Aigerim is a mother of five children, whom she raises together with her husband.

Aigerim's first encounter with China took place in 2011 when she came to learn the Chinese language, choosing it as an additional subject alongside English at university. In 2013, after getting married, the couple moved to China, where her husband had founded a freight transportation company back in 2009. Over the years of living in China, they have managed to visit many countries in Asia and are now planning trips across Europe.

Currently, the family is actively developing a business in logistics. "China holds leading positions in global exports, and its development is rapidly continuing. We also try to follow this trend by sending cargo and helping people with deliveries," Aigerim shares.

She emphasizes that in terms of development, China is ahead of Kyrgyzstan by 10–15 years. "I admire the modesty of the local residents. It doesn't matter whether you are a foreigner or a local — everyone is busy with their own work and works hard. People here are law-abiding and diligent. Political disputes are not commonly discussed. China is considered one of the safest countries because the residents trust their government," she says.

Guangzhou, where the family resides, delights with its warm climate and greenery, making life here comfortable. Aigerim is confident that all their efforts are directed towards their children's future. She wants to introduce them to various cultures and support them in learning languages. "There is a wise saying: the true value of children is revealed when they appear. Everything we do is an investment in their future," she notes.

The children study at a local school, where they learn Chinese and other languages.

Aigerim describes her days as busy: "Time in China passes unnoticed. In the morning, I prepare breakfast and see the children off to school. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, listening to podcasts, reading, and writing poetry."

The family tries to spend as much time together as possible, focusing on the development of their children.
