The head of the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic got acquainted with the activities of two dairy plants
As part of President Sadyr Japarov's directive to inspect regions and the epizootic situation, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov visited the dairy plants of OsOO "Belaya Reka" and "Umут и Ко," located in the Issyk-Ata district of Chui region.

Experts confirmed that there are no cases of disease among animals at the "Belaya Reka" plant, and the production processes fully comply with established safety standards.

OsOO "Belaya Reka," founded on October 21, 1998, based on the inter-district separator workshop of the Frunze Dairy Plant, is one of the leaders in the dairy industry. The plant is engaged in the collection, processing, and export of milk.

Under the brand "Belaya Reka," the company produces a wide range of high-quality natural dairy products, including butter, fermented milk products, yogurts, cheeses, and ayran, totaling over 140 items.

More than 100 employees work at the plant, and the dairy workshop can process up to 60 tons of milk per day, while in the spring-summer period, this figure reaches 80 tons.

The products are certified according to the international standard ISO 22000 and have a "Halal" certificate. Moreover, OsOO "Belaya Reka" is among the 15 enterprises in Kyrgyzstan that can supply their products to the Russian market according to the Russian Agricultural Supervision.

The second plant, OsOO "Umут и Ко," is one of the first enterprises in the dairy industry of Kyrgyzstan and began its operations in 1997. The design capacity of this plant is 100 tons of milk per day; however, it actually processes an average of 40–50 tons daily.

Modern equipment for pasteurization and homogenization is used at the plant, allowing for the control of safety and quality of products at all stages of production in accordance with international standards.

Currently, 430 people work here, and the production laboratory ensures constant quality control of milk and finished products.

The main goal of the plant is to produce competitive and safe dairy products that meet consumer expectations.

In 2012, a new building with modern dairy equipment was constructed on the plant's premises, new workshops were opened, and the water supply, heating, and energy supply systems were modernized, as well as the administrative premises were updated.

The purpose of the working visit was to exchange experiences on the implementation of innovative technologies in dairy production, as well as to ensure safety and quality control of products.
