
According to the city hall, festive events dedicated to the spring holiday Nowruz will take place in Bishkek on March 21.
- Sverdlovsk District will be the site of celebrations in the Karagach Grove, where yurts will be set up from 12:00 to 16:00, showcasing traditions and lifestyle, as well as a concert featuring creative groups and diasporas. Guests can look forward to sports competitions, master classes in folk crafts, and a fair with national dishes.
- Oktyabrsky District will offer a program in the "Yntymak-2" park, where a concert featuring children from the "Shayir Balalyk" children's creativity center is planned. National and sports games will also take place here, such as chess, tug-of-war, toguz korgool, darts, relays, football, and volleyball, along with creative master classes and an exhibition of works.
- Leninsky District will hold events at the "Gazprom - Children" sports complex in the "Archa-Beshik" residential area starting at 14:00. The program includes concerts, demonstrations of national rituals, the creation of an ethno-village from yurts, exhibitions, and master classes. In the "Ashar" park in the "Ak-Orgo" residential area, yurts will also be set up starting at 15:00, along with an ethno-buffet, sports games, and cultural events.
- First of May District will celebrate the holiday in the "Ak-Bosogo" residential area, where traditional yurts will be set up, offering folk games, demonstrations of customs, and a concert program. Guests will also be treated to national dishes, creating an atmosphere of spring renewal and hospitality.
The city hall encourages all residents to participate in the celebrations to mark the Day of the Spring Equinox together, enjoying music, games, master classes, and delicious treats, while immersing themselves in the atmosphere of national traditions.
