A deputy accuses Nadir Jusupbekov of provoking a conflict
Nadir Jusupbekov, the press secretary of the UPSM in Bishkek, responded to statements made by deputy Eru lan Kokulov from the parliamentary podium. Kokulov previously claimed that he was attacked by media representatives, including Jusupbekov, who, according to him, intentionally provoked a conflict to discredit him.
Furthermore, the deputy pointed out that his actions were preceded by words from journalists who promised him protection.
Nadir Jusupbekov denied the information voiced by Kokulov, stating that it is not true. “That day we were identifying incorrectly parked cars and writing reports from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Your assistant can confirm this. We spent four hours on you. It is not right to claim that you were dragged out of your house when, in fact, you were in your car. If you have complaints against me, contact me directly, not through the parliamentary podium. We are subscribed to each other on social media. I remind you that in traffic, deputies have no privileges. Everyone is equal before the law,” noted the press secretary.
It is worth reminding that Eru lan Kokulov criticized the work of journalists and employees of the UPSM in Bishkek, including Nadir Jusupbekov, accusing him of exceeding his authority and distorting facts related to the incorrectly parked car of the deputy.
The conflict began on February 26 at 9:30 PM, when residents of the house on Toygonbaev Street, 13 reported to service 102 about incorrectly parked cars blocking the passage. At the scene, patrol service employees found cars under a "No Parking" sign, among which was also Deputy Kokulov's car.
He expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the patrol officers and claimed his "untouchable" status, which caused widespread criticism on social media.
