The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurlan Musaev, read a statement from the Chairman, Mederbeks Satayev. This statement addressed the importance of justice in the history of the Kyrgyz people, which has always been perceived as the foundation of agreement and stability in society.

The unveiling of the bust holds significant historical importance, as it aims to immortalize the memory of an outstanding figure who played a crucial role in shaping the country's judicial system.

In his career, Abdykasym Supataev worked in the Supreme Court of the USSR, where he established himself as a top-notch lawyer and principled judge. From 1967 to 1974, he served as the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz SSR.

During his leadership, important reforms were implemented that contributed to the development of justice, the unification of legislation application, and the establishment of a stable judicial practice. He also focused on improving the material and technical base of the courts and creating comfortable working conditions.

Under his leadership, a new building for the judicial authorities was constructed in Bishkek, which the Supreme Court moved into in 1972. Currently, the Bishkek City Court is located here, giving the installation of the bust special symbolism. This building has become an important element of the architectural appearance of the city of Frunze.

During the ceremony, significant figures such as the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Emil Oskonbaev, the First Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Meder Aliyev, former Chairman of the Constitutional Court Cholpon Bayekova, and others, including relatives of Abdykasym Supataev, spoke.

The speakers noted his significant contribution to the judicial system and emphasized that his life path and professional achievements serve as a model for modern lawyers.

At the conclusion of the event, the relatives of Abdykasym Supataev donated books dedicated to his life and activities to the fund of the Supreme Court.

From 1946 to 1967, he was a member of the Supreme Court of the USSR and the judicial panel for criminal cases, representing the republic at the union level for over twenty years. From 1967 to 1974, as Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz SSR, he made a significant contribution to the improvement of justice and the formation of a unified judicial practice.

His journey from a secretary of the people's court to a member of the highest judicial body and Chairman of the Supreme Court is an example of dedication to the law. The principles of justice, impartiality, and legality that he adhered to are still relevant today, remaining important for judges and judicial system workers.
