In Bishkek, a grand evening concert took place in the central Ala-Too Square, with the participation of the city mayor, Aibek Junushaliev. This was reported by the city administration.
The mayor congratulated all residents and guests of the capital on the arrival of Nowruz, wishing them health, happiness, and prosperity.
He added that on this day, events dedicated to the holiday took place throughout the city. Thanks to active landscaping efforts, 67 previously neglected parks have been renovated, and now more than a thousand residents visit them.
He also noted that by 2026, the volume of work in this area will triple, covering not only green spaces but also road infrastructure and general improvement of the capital.
“Every day, the municipality works to make our city better, more comfortable, and cozier for living. We are improving roads and transportation, restoring order, supporting important social sectors, and implementing new solutions. All of this is aimed at the comfort and well-being of Bishkek residents,” the mayor emphasized.
“Our main goal is for every citizen to feel care, attention, and pride for Bishkek. We are not only solving everyday tasks but also creating a festive atmosphere by holding concerts and cultural events that unite people and fill their lives with bright emotions,” Junushaliev added.
The concert program included both choreographic and musical performances. Dance groups "Berekе," "Mob dance," and "The new generation" presented vibrant numbers in modern and national styles on stage.
The musical part of the evening delighted the audience with compositions from Begimai Turusbekova, Surana Sadibakassova, Cholpon Talipbek, Kalys Zhakypov, Tolgonai Arzykeeva, Avaza Akimova, and other performers such as Aydana Deka, Aktan Isabaev, Yryskeldi Osmonkulov, Gulzhigit Kalykov, and Azamat Toktokadyrov.
This concert became a significant cultural event, uniting the residents and guests of the capital and giving everyone present a festive mood.
