The city hall and the ANO 'Eurasia' celebrated Nowruz with the residents of Bishkek
In Bishkek, at the "Yntymak-2" park, a festive day was held in honor of Nowruz. The event was organized by the city hall and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Eurasia." The festive program began with the ancient ritual "Alas," conducted by Umai Ene, a guest of honor in a white elecheke. During the ritual, she burned juniper to bless the people of Kyrgyzstan with health, happiness, and a successful harvest this year.

Janybek Orozaliev, the head of the Oktyabrsky District Administration, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural traditions and strengthening unity in society.

According to him, "Nowruz symbolizes the renewal of nature, motherhood, and a happy life. This holiday has become a national celebration, embodying unity and rebirth."

Renat Aytimbetov, the deputy director of the regional office, also highlighted that the joint celebration of Nowruz has become a symbol of sustainable partnership between organizations.

He congratulated everyone on this bright spring holiday, noting that for the second consecutive year, the event is being held in this format, which testifies to strong friendship and mutual respect. "These events unite people and create an atmosphere of unity. I am confident that this good tradition will continue, contributing to the cohesion of society. We wish everyone happiness and well-being," Aytimbetov added.

The event was filled with a festive atmosphere. Themed yurts were set up for guests: "Eurasia," "Friendship of Peoples," and a craftspeople's yurt. In the "Eurasia" yurt, visitors could learn about the projects and events implemented by the organization in Kyrgyzstan.

The "Friendship of Peoples" yurt offered cultural performances, showcasing songs and dances that reflect the rich traditions of various peoples of Eurasia. In the craftspeople's yurt, guests could not only familiarize themselves with the works of folk artisans but also try their hand at creating something themselves during workshops.

Among the honored guests of the celebration were Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov, the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan Albert Zulkharnayev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, including Gulya Kozhokulova and Dastan Bekeshev, as well as Vice-Speaker Bolot Ibraimov and representatives of the KRSU.

An integral part of the celebration was the traditional dish sumolok, which symbolizes abundance and the renewal of nature. It is prepared the day before Nowruz, and the process takes a whole day. This dish is made from sprouted wheat with the addition of flour and oil. Volunteers from "Eurasia" treated everyone who wished to try sumolok.

The holiday program was diverse and included a concert featuring popular ensembles and creative groups. Workshops for children were organized, where young guests could showcase their artistic abilities by creating bright works on the theme of Nowruz.

Additionally, competitions in national sports such as tug-of-war, belt wrestling, sack races, and stone throwing were held for all who wished to participate.

Overall, the event took place in the spirit of friendship and respect for national traditions, uniting the residents and guests of the capital.
