The young poet Yskat Zholochiev, who began his creative journey in childhood, has already written almost thirty poems that have resonated with readers.

According to the author, poetry is a reflection of the inner world of every person, their soulful secrets, and the realities of life. In the works of young poets like Yskat, one can feel sincerity, purity of feelings, and hope. A native of the village of Ak-Bulun in the Issyk-Kul region, he has already captured the public's attention.

In an interview with Turmush, Yskat shared his thoughts.

Born on November 7, 2008, Yskat Samatovich Zholochiev is currently studying in the 11th grade at the Temirkasy Asanbaev school located in the village of Shakhta-Zhyrgalan. His love for poetry began to develop at an early age, and since the seventh grade, he has been actively engaged in writing poetry.

Yskat dedicated his first poem to the beauty of Kyrgyz women. Since then, hundreds of poems on themes of romance, upbringing, and patriotism have emerged in his work. "I strive to awaken a sense of patriotism and love for the native land in readers, as well as to remind them of the importance of preserving good human qualities and the true value of loyalty and love," he says.

The name "Yskat" has Arabic roots and translates to "grace," "mercy," and "goodness." "My grandfather gave me this name, infusing it with his good wishes. I strive to live up to his hopes and become a poet who brings joy and light to people," adds the young author.

Currently, Yskat has more than thirty works in his creative portfolio. He actively publishes his poems on social media, receiving positive feedback from readers. His works, such as "Ch.Aitmatov," "One Step," "Time," "Light," "When Poets Cry," "My Village," "I Lost Myself," "This Will Not Happen Again," and "Pure Thoughts," regularly appear in print publications, reaching a wide audience.

One of his significant works is the poem "Menin Aiylym" ("My Village"), which praises the nature of Shakhta-Zhyrgalan, its clean air, and the murmuring mountain streams. Yskat claims that he tried to infuse all his love and warmth into these lines.

In addition to poetry, Yskat is passionate about storytelling the epic "Manas." He actively participates in manaschy competitions at the school and district levels, receiving certificates and awards. He is inspired by great masters of words. "My idols in poetry are Elmirek Imanaliev, and in literature, Chyngyz Aitmatov. For me, they are the peaks of Ala-Too in the world of art. I dream of becoming a writer whose name will be known not only in Kyrgyzstan but also beyond its borders," he shares.

For Yskat, school is not just an educational institution but the foundation of his creativity. "School for me is like a pen with which I write poems. Without it, I wouldn't have my knowledge and opportunities to create," he noted.

The young poet advises his peers: "Never give up on your goals and write sincerely. Convey your feelings and truth in simple language. Only then can your words reach the heart of the reader."

"Menin Aiylym"

The place where my roots are

A famous golden village

Created just for me

You are my happiness

Cradling me in your embrace

You became my cradle, my village

Welcoming me with joy

You became my family, my village

Endlessly pouring out love

You became my parents, my village

My bountiful pearl

You became my paradise

My village

Surrounded by mountains

Covered with fir and birch

Even though it's far from the city

My village is Zhyrgalan

Winter and summer never cease

From the flowing streams

No matter how cold it is

It never loses its beauty

Its mountains are cloaked in green

Fir trees cover everything

Even though there are many fir trees

They have planted the spruces

Black gold has fully emerged

With pure air, life is joyful

Even if the money is scarce

Fortune is rich in unity
