This year, the Talas region is preparing to celebrate Independence Day with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov. The presidential representative in the region, Ermat Jumayev, spoke on Birinchi Radio about the current socio-economic projects being implemented in the region.
Creation of new enterprises
According to Jumayev, enterprises engaged in the processing of agricultural products are being built in the region for the first time. One of the factories will specialize in processing vegetables and fruits, while another will focus on cleaning and packaging beans.
Development of housing construction and infrastructure
The region is also actively developing infrastructure, as well as improving the quality of education and healthcare.

Additionally, there are plans to build 9-story residential buildings in the Khan-Tengri area, which will be a novelty for the region.
Construction activities are actively ongoing in the city of Talas, where new facilities, parks, and squares are emerging. Jumayev noted that the work is ahead of schedule.
Reconstruction of the "Manas Ordo" complex
Jumayev also reported on the progress of the reconstruction of the "Manas Ordo" complex as part of the second phase of development in the Talas region. Within this program, projects such as "Chyngyz Aalamy," the "Balastan" center, and the "Besh-Tash" recreation area are being implemented. The total cost of all works amounts to 5.15 billion soms.

As part of the reconstruction, the construction of facilities for pilgrims is planned, as about 4,000 sheep are slaughtered here annually. There are also plans to build a hotel, a new administrative building, a gallery, cafes, and restaurants, as well as a cottage village.
Additionally, a grandstand for 2,500 seats and a new stadium for equestrian competitions will be built.
The area of the museum will increase from 400 to 1,200 square meters, and new digital content will allow visitors to learn about the biography of Manas in 6-7 minutes.
Development of tourism and new facilities
Another important project mentioned by Jumayev is the "Balastan" children's development center, which will become a mini-town with its own infrastructure, and it is expected to attract visitors from neighboring countries.
In addition, projects "Chyngyz Aalamy" and the "Besh-Tash" recreation area are being implemented to enhance the tourism potential of the region.

Furthermore, the official noted plans to build the "Akyllman" lyceum for 200 students, which will become a presidential educational institution for training qualified personnel in the region.
