75 families in the Tyup District received government support through social contracts

Government Support in the Tyup District: 75 Families Received Social Certificates<{short}>Turmush — In the Tyup district, 75 families receiving social assistance have become holders of certificates worth 150,000 soms as part of the social contract program. This initiative was organized by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, reports Turmush correspondent.

According to the information, the issuance of certificates became possible thanks to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 385, adopted on July 15, 2022, regarding socio-economic assistance based on social contracts.

The certificates were presented with congratulations from the Akim of the Tyup district, Timur Madyarov, his deputy Nurchan Alapaeva, and the head of the labor, social protection, and migration department of the district, Kanatbek Kurmanaliev.

For 2026, 192 quotas are planned. The certificate recipients intend to develop their projects in various directions: 71 families will engage in animal husbandry, 3 families will grow raspberries, currants, and strawberries, and one family will be involved in small trading.

During the certificate presentation ceremony, experiences were shared by those who have already utilized the funds from the program in 2023–2024 and successfully run their businesses. Among them are Nargiza Aitnazarova from the village of Toguz-Bulak, Meerim Khisnulina from the village of Mikhailovka, and Zhanat Kadyrakunova from the village of Kuturgu.

In the past four years, 722 families have received assistance through social contracts, allowing them to confidently move towards overcoming poverty.

Note: The "Social Contract" program was created to assist families receiving benefits in starting their own businesses and improving their living conditions. Since 2023, the amount of support was 100,000 soms, and this year it has increased to 150,000 soms. Among the program participants, there are families that have managed to increase their annual income to one million soms and create new jobs.
