On the night of December 6, Kyrgyzstani fighter Jakshylyk Myrzabekov entered the ring in Moscow, where his opponent was Russian Uzair Abdurakhov. At the beginning of the fight, Jakshylyk successfully attacked his opponent and then took him to the ground, where he applied a chokehold.
It took the Kyrgyzstani just 33 seconds to secure the victory, earning him the title of "Best Submission of the Year" at the ACA Awards 2025.
Currently, Myrzabekov holds the interim championship title in his weight class and is preparing for a fight against the reigning champion Abubakar Vagaev from Russia, who has decided to take a break from his career until spring 2026.
