22-year-old Carlos Alcaraz, ranked first in the world tennis rankings, achieved a crucial victory at the Australian Open - 2026. In the final match held in Melbourne, he faced the legendary Serbian Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam titleholder. Alcaraz won with a score of 3:1 (2:6, 6:2, 6:3, 7:5).

This triumphant victory marked an important milestone in the Spaniard's career, as he completed a career "Grand Slam" by winning titles at all four major tournaments. Alcaraz became the youngest tennis player to achieve this, breaking Rafael Nadal's record. For his victory, he received over 3.1 million Australian dollars (about 2 million British pounds) in prize money.

In line with his style, the seven-time major champion decided to commemorate this success with a new tattoo. Even before the tournament began, he announced his intention to get an image of a kangaroo, the symbol of Australia.

“It will be a small kangaroo on my leg. I haven’t decided exactly where yet, but it will complement my collection,” Alcaraz shared his plans. He already has tattoos dedicated to his significant victories: a strawberry symbolizing Wimbledon, the Eiffel Tower in honor of Roland Garros, as well as the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge, related to his triumphs at the US Open.
