Asel Sharbekova from Kyrgyzstan achieved success at the Open Masters Games 2026, held in Abu Dhabi (UAE), winning a silver and a bronze medal in archery. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.

According to the information, under the guidance of coach Kylchbek Nurmanbetov, Asel competed in the over 30 category and became a silver medalist, as well as winning bronze in the 40+ category.

The Open Masters Games is an international multi-sport event taking place in 2026 in Abu Dhabi, aimed at promoting the idea of "sport for all" and bringing together various age groups. This event also encourages an active lifestyle, sports achievements, and cultural exchange.

Participation in the games is open to anyone over 30 years old, regardless of their level of training or experience. The program includes 33 disciplines, including traditional Arab competitions such as camel racing and falconry.

The competitions are divided into professional, semi-professional, and amateur categories.
