Gold of Aiperi Medet kyzy at the ranking tournament in Albania

On February 28, a ranking tournament took place in Albania, where Kyrgyzstan's Aiperi Medet kyzy won a gold medal in the weight category up to 76 kg.

In her first match in the 1/8 finals, she secured a confident victory over Gulmaral Yerkebayeva from Kazakhstan with a score of 12:2.

Then Aiperi continued her winning streak, winning decisively against Vanesa Georgieva from Bulgaria (10:0) and Elmira Yasin from Turkey (14:0).

In the final, she was set to face Genesis Reasco Valdez from Ecuador, the reigning world champion. These two athletes had previously met in the final of the 2025 World Championship, where the Ecuadorian emerged victorious.

However, this time Medet kyzy was able to take revenge, winning the final match and claiming the gold medal of the tournament.
