Meerim Jumaanazarova, an athlete from Kyrgyzstan, won a silver medal at a ranking wrestling tournament held in Albania. This was reported by the UWW Wrestling Federation.

In the decisive match, which took place on February 27, the Kyrgyzstani faced Yuliana Yaneva from Bulgaria, known as a silver medalist at the World Championship. In this confrontation, Yaneva emerged victorious, finishing the match with a score of 2:0.

Jumaanazarova competed in the weight category up to 68 kg and began her journey from the 1/8 finals.

In the 1/8 finals, she secured a confident victory over an American athlete, and then advanced to the quarterfinals, where she also defeated another representative from the USA.

In the semifinals, the Kyrgyzstani met Nersin Bash from Turkey and managed to win in a tense match.
