Arvaz Akhmadi won silver at the tournament in Thailand

Kyrgyz boxer Arvaz Akhmadi has won second place at the international boxing tournament held in Thailand.

The World Boxing Futures Cup for boys under 19 concluded on March 15 in Bangkok.

Akhmadi competed in the weight category up to 70 kg, where 40 participants competed.

The athlete began his journey from the 1/16 finals, achieving four consecutive victories, which allowed him to reach the finals.

In the decisive match, he faced a boxer from Kazakhstan. After three rounds of 3 minutes each, the judges favored the Kazakh athlete with a split decision.

Thus, Arvaz Akhmadi won the silver medal, taking second place.
