
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev presented a comprehensive report at a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, where he discussed the achievements and future development of tourism, culture, and sports in the country.
According to Kasymaliev, the tourism sector is demonstrating rapid growth and is becoming an important part of Kyrgyzstan's economy.
Special attention is being paid to the development of tourist infrastructure in the Issyk-Kul region and the city of Cholpon-Ata. All sanatoriums, boarding houses, hotels, and beaches are gradually being brought in line with modern standards to improve service quality.
"Kyrgyzstan is becoming increasingly known on the international stage as an attractive tourist destination. In 2025, the country was included in the list of the 50 best places for recreation according to the authoritative publication Financial Times. Additionally, the British publication The Guardian recognized Kyrgyzstan as one of the best destinations for ethnic tourism," noted the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
