According to this order, the Minister of Economy and Commerce is authorized to sign the memorandum on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the right to make non-essential changes and additions.
The purpose of this memorandum is to develop a partnership in the areas of hospitality, tourism, and attracting investments.
Main areas of cooperation:
- assistance in attracting tourists to both countries;
- strengthening interaction between travel agencies and specialized organizations;
- stimulating investments in the tourism sector and jointly promoting tourism initiatives;
- coordinating positions on international platforms (forums, conferences, etc.);
- exchanging knowledge, experience, and statistics;
- organizing familiarization visits, including trips for media and experts;
- enhancing the qualifications of specialists through training and seminars;
- participation in exhibitions and events in the tourism sector.
There is also a provision for the exchange of advertising and informational materials. Each party will bear expenses within its competence, and the procedure for joint costs will be agreed upon separately.
The memorandum will take effect after the completion of all necessary domestic procedures and the exchange of notifications through diplomatic channels. Its duration will be 5 years with automatic renewal for subsequent five-year periods. If termination is necessary, a notification is required 6 months before the expiration.
