The Association of Designers and Craftsmen of Kyrgyzstan, together with the Tourism Development Support Fund, has signed a cooperation agreement.
The main objective of this memorandum is to revive traditional crafts and integrate them into the tourist experience, which will make craftsmanship an important part of the country's tourist routes.
According to the agreement, the parties intend to work together on several key areas:
Inclusion of craft workshops and locations in tourist routes, creating new attractive points for travelers visiting Kyrgyzstan.
Organization of ethno-festivals, fairs, and exhibitions aimed at promoting craftsmanship in both domestic and foreign markets.
Development of marketing strategies and conducting informational tours to attract tourists to craft centers, which will enhance the recognition of national art.
The Fund emphasized that this partnership will be a significant step in the development of cultural tourism and support for artisans who have preserved the rich heritage of Kyrgyzstan.
