President Sadyr Japarov, in his recent address to the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, expressed strong condemnation of the practice of "bargaining" during discussions of government reports and the approval of the country's budget.
He noted that some deputies openly propose conditions, for example: "If a kilometer of road is not asphalted in my village, I will not support the report." As a result, according to the president, only one kilometer of asphalting was actually completed.

Japarov imposed a strict ban on such actions, emphasizing their impracticality: "Think for yourselves, how much machinery is required for one kilometer, how many inert materials and asphalt need to be delivered from afar. This leads to an increase in construction costs by 2-3 times," he stressed.

In the president's opinion, a more effective solution would be to construct roads of no less than 10 kilometers, and in some cases up to 100 kilometers. This would allow for the placement of asphalt and concrete plants nearby and the opening of local quarries, which would significantly reduce budget costs.

"Instead of one kilometer at an inflated price, we will lay full sections. In the future, we will provide every village with asphalted roads," promised the head of state.

It is worth noting that earlier, the deputies of the eighth convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh took their oath.
