In the Osh region, in the city of Nookat, two kindergartens temporarily suspended their operations due to a power outage.

This information was provided by the mayor of Nookat, Askarali Abdiabaev.

According to him, the power outage occurred on Sunday, and it was restored only by the morning of the next day.

“The lack of electricity leads to the shutdown of heating systems, which was the reason for the temporary closure of the two kindergartens. They resumed operations today. We made this decision in the interest of the children's safety,” noted Abdiabaev.

The head of the district education department, Talaybek Jusupov, reported that 22 schools have switched to online learning due to an increase in seasonal infection cases.

“In accordance with the recommendations of sanitary and epidemiological supervision, 22 schools have started distance learning. There are 120 state schools and 5 private schools operating in the district, as well as 118 kindergartens. All institutions continue to operate, except for the two kindergartens that are temporarily closed,” added Jusupov.
