Adylbek Kasymaliev participated in the 24th meeting of the SCO RATS

At a meeting held in the capital of Russia, a gathering of delegation heads began with Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. During this stage, participants discussed the most important issues of multilateral cooperation and developed ways to strengthen integration within the framework of the SCO.

In an expanded session, Adylbek Kasymaliev presented key points regarding the development of the Organization, emphasizing the events planned during Kyrgyzstan's presidency in the SCO.

He noted the need for further development of trade relations and joint innovations, highlighting several priority areas of cooperation, such as simplifying trade procedures, developing transport connectivity, using national currencies, and digitalization.

“From 2020 to 2024, Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with SCO countries increased by 3.5 times. As of the end of the first eight months of this year, SCO countries account for 75% of Kyrgyzstan's total trade turnover. Additionally, over the past nine months, our country has welcomed about 8 million citizens from SCO countries,” he emphasized.

After the meeting, the heads of delegations met with Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Putin noted: “Our common task is to strengthen the authority and influence of the SCO as one of the most significant regional associations on the Eurasian continent and in the world. Here, governments play a special role in establishing practical interaction and expanding multifaceted cooperation among the member states of the organization.”
