CIC KGOR: 261 reports of possible violations in the elections of deputies of the ЖК received, of which 42 are about voter bribery

The coordination group for operational response of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums continues its activities in an intensified mode. This was reported by Central Election Commission member Altynbek Kubatbekov at a briefing held on November 30.

As Kubatbekov noted, the team of the coordination group, as well as representatives of local agencies, are promptly responding to reports of possible violations of electoral legislation. All received information is immediately documented in the register of the Central Election Commission.

As of 18:00 on November 30, the KGOR has registered 261 reports, including:

- 124 about violations of campaigning conditions;
- 51 about other offenses;
- 42 about potential voter bribery;
- 37 about the dissemination of compromising information about candidates;
- 8 about the abuse of administrative resources.

From 08:00 to 18:00 on November 30, 59 new reports were recorded, including:

- 27 about violations of campaigning rules;
- 16 about other types of information;
- 12 about possible voter bribery;
- 4 about technical violations.

Of these reports:

- 27 were forwarded to law enforcement agencies for verification;
- 19 were sent to the working group of the CEC;
- 13 were forwarded to territorial election commissions.

Kubatbekov also noted that decisions to impose fines totaling 686,000 soms have already been made for 69 cases in accordance with the Code of Offenses.

We remind you that the elections are nearing completion, and the CEC member urged citizens to exercise their right to vote: "Even if there is only one hour left, you can come and vote. Everyone had the opportunity to take advantage of the conditions created by the state, including remote voting points in major shopping centers and public places."

Today, November 30, voting is taking place in Kyrgyzstan as part of the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, with 460 candidates participating. The country is divided into 30 electoral districts, from each of which three deputies will be elected to parliament, based on the highest number of votes received.
