The negotiations between the presidents took place in St. Petersburg
Recently, a meeting was held in St. Petersburg between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. According to the administration of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Putin expressed gratitude to his Kyrgyz colleague.
The reason for the gratitude was the warm conditions under which the meeting took place, organized in Bishkek in early November, when the leaders of the CSTO member states gathered in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
“The atmosphere and content of the meeting were at a high level,” emphasized the Russian president.
During the negotiations, the presidents discussed many pressing issues related to trade, economy, cultural and humanitarian aspects, as well as the political situation. Special attention was given to migration issues.
It is worth noting that Sadyr Japarov is in Russia on a working visit and also participated in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
Additionally, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, announced that Sadyr Japarov, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Emomali Rahmon will be awarded the Tolstoy Peace Prize.
