Sadyr Japarov participated in the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, visited an informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States on December 22, held in St. Petersburg. This information was provided by the press service of the head of state.

Among the leaders present were Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhamedov, and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting was opened by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who welcomed all participants.

Initially, a short tour of the State Hermitage was organized for the heads of state, where they were shown the Alexander and George Halls, as well as some unique exhibits.

After the tour, the CIS leaders gathered in the George Hall for an informal discussion. During the meeting, the participants discussed the results of the work of the CIS bodies and outlined key areas for development for 2026.
