Tesla, a company based in the USA, plans to start production of its two-seater electric vehicles, Cybercab, with full autonomy in the second quarter of next year. This was announced by CEO Elon Musk, as reported by Interfax.

According to Musk, the new Cybercab will be so advanced that it "will feel like a living being," highlighting the achievements of artificial intelligence.

This model was first introduced last year and does not have a steering wheel or pedals.

In addition, the company's plans include full automation of the robotaxi service in Austin, Texas, by the end of this year.

The service was launched in Austin and the San Francisco Bay Area this summer. In Austin, rides are currently accompanied by a driver who occupies the passenger seat, while in the Bay Area, a person monitors safety from the driver's seat. Services are provided in both locations on a waiting list basis.

Elon Musk noted that the company is not rushing to expand the service, as any incident involving autonomous vehicles could generate widespread media attention: "Even one accident would make the front pages of newspapers around the world," he added.
