Petrenko Boris Yakovlevich
Candidate of Chemical Sciences. Graduated from the Pedagogical Institute.
Worked as a laboratory assistant and lecturer at the Faculty of Physics of the Kyrgyz State University.
Since 1963, he worked at the Institute of Physical and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1971, he defended his candidate dissertation.
He developed and created an electron-beam melting installation for the smelting of refractory metal alloys.
Published more than 80 works, including 28 inventions, many of which have found practical applications.
Awarded the silver medal of the VDNH of the USSR and the badge "Inventor of the USSR".

1. Installation for obtaining products of electroerosion of metals. Patent No. 322249, 1969.
2. Electroerosion installation for the synthesis of chemical compounds. Patent No. 395209, 1972.
3. Method for obtaining silicon carbide rods. Patent No. 442673, 1971.
4. Method for obtaining a polymer. Patent No. 498319, 1974.
5. Method for obtaining aluminum alkoxides. Patent No. 674639, 1977.
