An analysis of the state of crop and livestock production in the Osh region revealed the need to establish 5 trade and logistics centers (TLC) and 53 processing enterprises.
The ministry noted that the new facilities will help reduce losses of agricultural products, improve storage conditions, and develop processing. The main areas of work include the processing of vegetables, fruits, grapes, milk, meat, wool, and rice, taking into account the climatic and geographical conditions of the region.
Plan by districts:
- Kara-Suu district – 1 TLC, 10 processing enterprises;
- Nookat district – 1 TLC, 8 processing enterprises;
- Kara-Kuldzhinsky district – 4 processing enterprises;
- Alai district – 1 TLC, 4 processing enterprises;
- Aravan district – 1 TLC, 6 processing enterprises;
- Uzgen district – 2 TLC, 6 processing enterprises;
- Chon-Alai district – 5 processing enterprises;
- city of Osh – 1 TLC, 3 processing enterprises.
