400 Meters of Fishing Nets Removed from the Waters of Issyk-Kul
During the inspection, 400 meters of old fishing nets were retrieved from the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul.
“These illegal fishing gear causes significant harm to the lake's ecosystem and can lead to a decrease in fish populations. Therefore, inspectors regularly carry out activities to identify and prevent such violations,” the ministry's press release states.
