In Bishkek, at the Turdakun Usubaliev Square, a large agricultural fair continues, initiated by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. One of the main features of this event has been the low prices for meat products: city residents can purchase meat for prices starting at 600 soms per kilogram. This is below the previously established limit set by the Bishkek city hall, which was 650 soms, making the fair more advantageous for buyers, as it offers products directly from producers without intermediaries.

In addition to meat products, the fair features a diverse assortment of other quality goods produced locally at prices close to production costs. The Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes that there is no food shortage in the country, and the reserves of basic products fully meet the needs of the population. These trade events are held according to a national schedule, which includes similar fairs in all regions of the country aimed at providing citizens with affordable and quality food products.
