Response from the State Agency for Land Resources
Aman Kebekov, a specialist from the State Agency for Land Resources, noted in an interview with "Birinchi Radio" that the purchase of housing by foreigners does not have a significant impact on the formation of prices in the real estate market in Kyrgyzstan.
He reported that the analysis conducted showed the actual influence of foreign citizens on this market.
Kebekov emphasized: "There are concerns that the involvement of foreigners leads to an increase in prices. However, our research shows that the share of such transactions accounts for less than 1% of the total market volume." He added that foreign citizens cannot acquire land plots in the republic but have the opportunity to purchase apartments and houses.
