The cargo of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs is waiting at the border with Russia
During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov reported that many businessmen are turning to deputies and the media daily with complaints about the delay of their cargo at the Russian border.
He noted that the goods of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are not passing through the border, resulting in millions of dollars' worth of cargo piling up in customs warehouses.
"Millions of dollars are at the border. I strongly urge you, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, to organize an official visit to the Russian Federation, hold meetings with State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin and Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko to resolve this issue. It is the parliament's duty to address such problems," emphasized Jumabekov.
The Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, responded that he has already received official invitations from Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matviyenko.
He also mentioned that he plans to visit the Russian Federation in the third decade of March, where the issue of exporting Kyrgyz goods will be discussed during negotiations.
